ADU Design & Engineering

Based on the building code, and local regulations, you need to provide a full set of plans for city review. So that why we can handal for you. Collaborate with our project-coordinator and designers to customize your ADU. We ensure that the final configuration not only reflects your vision but also meets site-specific requirements and comply the building code.

City Permitting

The city government's approval process is a long, headache-inducing job that requires patience; The process can feel like scaling a mountain......

Can I build an ADU on my property? 
If you’re property-owner in California- YES !

The possibility of building an ADU on your property depends on local zoning laws, regulations, and property restrictions.

How much does it cost to build an ADU ? 

Every ADU is different, depending on the complexity of each project, different materials are used.

With the many variables that go into building an ADU, it can be difficult to determine the potential cost, but... 
 

There are sample of "rough quotes" for your reference ( year of 2025 ) :

 

  1. For existing Garage-conversion: between $ 190 / sf~ $ 220 / sf.  400sf (2-car) garage can cost between $76k ~ $88k.

  2. New-build structural (attach / Detach), Cost between $ 250/ sf~ $ 280/ sf and up

How long does it take to build an ADU ? 

From the beginning of the design phase to getting keys in hand for a completed ADU,

the average ADU project timeline is around 6 ~14 months
Keep in mind that timelines can vary depending on terrain, how many units you plan to build, permitting turnaround time, and other factors.
